Lee-Nam Lee

Lee-Nam Lee (b. 1969) is Korean media artist. He is well known for his digital portrayal of classic masterpieces. Lee studied sculpture at Chosun University and received his master's degree from the department of Fine Arts at the same university. Also, he completed his Ph.D at Yonsei University and Chosun University in South Korea. Lee’s artistic background is heavily influenced by his childhood. He grew up surrounded by bamboo trees. The exposure to the natural environment was extremely helpful in creating his identity as an artist. Even to this day, most of his works center on the theme of nature.

He has many solo and group exhibitions internationally every year. Moreover, various organizations such as Thoma Foundation(USA) and UN Headquaters are collecting his works.
