Seo Jung - Choun Hwang Lee, is a Korean painter based in Seoul, who was born in a little island, Wando, in the very south of Korea in 1956. After graduating from Konkuk University, Seo Jung has been participated in many exhibitions. His poetic paintings are based on Korean Confucianism, which is rooted in an ancient Chinese belief system, which focuses on the importance of personal ethics and morality.
"Windy Days" series of paintings is about a plum blossom, which a symbol of winter ending and a herald of spring. A plum blossom enduers strong wind, harsh snow, and fierce cold and eventually blossom beautiful five petal of flowers. Twenty one Century's pandamic situation would be windy days for us, but we will blossom after this windy days.
