Soonyi OH

Born in Korea in 1966, Soonyi OH is one of the world’s preeminent foot painters. She studied Oriental Painting at Dankook University in South Korea, and received her MFA and Ph. D from National China Academy of Art. Landscape painting is the depiction of nature in an artistic form and conveys the inner landscape of the artist's mind and heart. The artist listens to the essence of nature and her inner self, and imbues the paintings, via a traditional ink was technique, with her ideals of the changing seasons. By drawing upon the different shapes and colors of the natural landscape the Artist's express the sounds of nature that were evoked in her inner spirit.
