Won-Geun Kim

WonGeun Kim is a sculptor based in Seoul. His signature sculpture "Man Series" depicts ourselves. Fatty man with shaved hair and no emotion on his face wears unique clothing. Sometimes, he holds flowers or a pet or wears boxing gloves. With a bandage on his forehead, we can guess his life might be tough. This tired man has pure love and a fragile mind for who he loves. The humorous sculpture reminds our fathers, brothers, and friends who shy to express their love.

Kim had seven solo exhibitions in Korea and participated in numerous group exhibitions and art fairs in South Korea and the U.S.A.  Kim has also participated in various residency programs in India, Taiwan, Turkey, Japan, China, and Spain.
